20th Anniversary Events

17 July 2018 - Twentieth Anniversary of the Adoption of the Rome Statute

17 July 2018 marks the twentieth anniversary of the adoption of the Rome Statute, the founding treaty of the ICC, which seeks to protect people from genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and the crime of aggression.

States Parties play a crucial role in the support of the Rome Statute; therefore, the ICC has made available a toolkit which States can use for the various campaigns or as an inspiration for national activities.
