New York
The search for a successor to the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Mr. Luis Moreno-Ocampo, whose term will expire in June 2012, is underway. The Search Committee, which operates from New York and is mandated to facilitate the nomination and election, by consensus, of the next Prosecutor, held its first meeting. The next Prosecutor will be elected by the tenth session of the Assembly of States Parties to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.
