On 8 November 2005, the President of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Judge Philippe Kirsch addressed the United Nations (UN) General Assembly. President Kirsch provided an update on recent developments at the Court and spoke about the cooperative relationship that exists between the Court and the UN.
President Kirsch was speaking during the session of the UN General Assembly discussing the first-ever report of the ICC to the UN. The report was submitted in July 2005. Under the Relationship Agreement between the ICC and the UN, the Court may submit reports on its activities to the UN.
