Result of the election of the Registrar pursuant to article 43 of the Rome Statute and rule 12 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence
On 24 June 2003, the judges of the International Criminal Court (ICC), sitting in a plenary session, elected Mr. Bruno Cathala (France) as Registrar for a period of five years by an absolute majority by secret ballot.
On 4 July 2003, Mr. Bruno Cathala made the solemn undertaking pursuant to article 45 of the Rome Statute during a public ceremony held at the seat of the Court in The Hague.
