The Assembly of States Parties to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court will hold its fifth session at the World Forum Convention Centre-WFCC, in The Hague, Netherlands, from 23 November to 1 December 2006.
Media Accreditation
All journalists wishing to cover the conference and related events are requested to submit an official letter of assignment by fax to +31 (0)70 381-5476 and the accreditation form to the following email address: [email protected].
The accreditation application period starts on Monday, 13 November and closes on Friday, 17 November 2006 at 4 p.m.
A journalist who is already accredited with the ICC does not have to submit the accreditation form nor the letter, but is kindly requested to confirm via email his or her participation.
The results of the accreditation procedure will be posted on the ICC web site on Monday, 20 November 2006. Press badges will be issued and handed out at the WFCC to journalists that have been granted accreditation. To receive the press badge, journalists must present a passport or a valid ID with a photo. No admittance will be allowed to any of the scheduled events without prior accreditation.
Please note that there will be no press facilities available at the World Forum Convention Centre.

The Assembly of States Parties to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court does not deal with issuance of visas to the Netherlands. Members of the media are responsible for obtaining an appropriate visa entry into the Netherlands if they need one. Visas may be obtained from a diplomatic or consular mission of the Netherlands in the country of residence. In the case of a country where the Netherlands does not have a consular mission, journalists may obtain a visa from the mission of another Schengen country that is responsible for issuing visas on behalf of the Netherlands. The Schengen countries are: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden.
