The Salzburg Law School on International Criminal Law, Humanitarian Law and Human Rights Law (SLS) was founded by Professor Otto Triffterer in 1999 in order to disseminate knowledge, promote understanding and encourage critical discourse of international criminal law. The annual summer sessions bring together about 50 participants, advanced students, young academics and professionals and up to 15 lecturers for a highly intensive course on international criminal law. Research on all areas of international criminal law, including complementarity. Expertise and technical assistance on implementing legislation.
