ASP Documents
The facilitation on the Review of the Procedure for the Nomination and Election of Judges supports the Assembly's efforts to ensure transparent, fair and effective procedures for the nomination and election of judges of the International Criminal Court. It provides a forum for reviewing existing election procedures and considering improvements where necessary.
The facilitation also examines issues related to judicial nominations, including the implementation of due diligence procedures for elected officials and measures aimed at strengthening the quality, integrity and transparency of judicial selection processes.
